An easy to grow gourmet treat producing delicious small berries about twice the size of wild strawberries. The plants will produce fruit throught the summer and fall. The flowers are also edible with a mild strawberry like flavor and work well in drinks, on salads, in desserts, or as a garnish. Plants stay compact with few runners, doing well in containers and along garden edges.
 
Cover with a straw mulch after the first few frosts to protect the plants through the winter. Remove the mulch as new growth begins in the spring.
