A relatively mild hot- pepper, Poblano peppers (known as Ancho peppers when dried)  have a perfect balance of heat and sweet flavor and thick crunchy flesh. They are ideal for roasting and stuffing, drying, or making chile rellenos. This particular variety can produce 12-20 fruits per plant and is well adapted to the north. Average 500-1800 scoville units.
