Basil, Kapoor Tulsi (Holy Basil)

Ocimum tenuiflorum

Annual

Full Sun

85 Days to Harvest
Plant 6”-8” Apart in Rows 18” Apart

A native to India, and used in Indian and Thai cooking, as well as Ayurvedic medicine. Makes a delicious tea, and is used to strengthen the immune system. The flavor is spicier than other culinary basils. It is quick to go to seed but still usable when covered with the purple flowers. Regular harvesting prolongs production.
