'Mara de Bois' is a everbearing strawberry with medium sized fruit that has exception flavor and fragrance. Everbearing strawberries will put on fruit through the entire growing season. The plant will put out runners, which if allowed to establish in the soil will grow into new plants, or if pruned off will re-direct energy into increased fruit production. 
 
Cover with a straw mulch after the first few frosts to protect the plants through the winter. Remove the mulch as new growth begins in the spring.
